I have tried to create surface textures within this project to make it more interesting. Cut outs is a major part of any of my projects but I wanted to see if I could go any further by combining this with surface manipulations such as smocking. I have used my own smocking techniques made of felt and combining it with 3D pinwheels. I have also combined cut outs with 3D pinwheels and using leather and foam to create a different feel and look. leather cut outs of fans layered onto leather own smocking technique in felt own smocking technique combined with felt pinwheels felt pinwheels layered leather cut outs combined with a hint of colour gold  

Inspired by different sort of nuts and seeds from eating to outdoor plants. The concept could be taken to design for prints, textiles or decorative pieces. The idea of taking just its simple shape and form makes the concept simple. My thoughts was also creating delicacy by handcutting 3D textured design combined with hand cutouts Hand cutouts Textile related outcomes
